Seymour & Castle have recently completed installation of further education facilities at Bishop Burton, Riseholme for Hobson & Porter Ltd. This project follows completion of Phase 1 in August 2015 which involved the installation of three campus buildings namely Innovation, Animal Science and Workshops.
The Phase 2 project consisted of two new buildings, a sports facility including a main sports hall, fitness suite, changing rooms and all-weather training pitch. A 3 storey teaching facility including laboratories, teaching space and food kitchen for agricultural food analysis. The associated external work consisted of a 750kva Standby Generator, PV System, Fibre network, CCTV, Street Lighting & Flood Lighting to the sports pitch.
The opening of the new facilities will coincide with the launch of new Further Education subjects being delivered at the college, including food technology and management, sport coaching and fitness, health and social care, childcare, tourism, business and management services.
